Safe Working at Heights

In line with the “Working at Height Regulations 2005” this course teaches candidates safe practices whilst working at height and provides instruction on the correct use of access equipment. 

If you work at height and use height safety equipment then this course if for you.

Course Content

  • Legislation – Working at Height Regulations 2005 and PUWER 1998.
  • Pre use inspection of equipment and surrounding area.
  • Appropriate use of equipment.
  • Support and fixing methods.
  • Engineered and improvised anchor points.
  • Suspension trauma.
  • The need for rescue.
  • Practical exercises.
  • Distribution of course handout.

This is half day course with a maximum of 12 candidates.  On successful completion candidates will be provided with a certificate of attendance and training record.
