LGV & PCV Drivers - Will you be able to keep driving professionally?

The EU Directive 2003/59 requires that you MUST undertake 35 hours of periodic training within a five year period to retain your entitlement to drive professionally.  This directive came into effect in September 2008 for PCV drivers and September 2009 for LGV drivers.


DGC Training Services Ltd are a member of the RTITB Master Driver Consortium Approved by the Driving Standards Agency Joint Approvals Unit to deliver Driver CPC Training.  The RTITB have been at the forefront of road transport training for over 40 years providing high quality training to ensure the highest possible standards are maintained.

The Master Driver Training Programme covers the entire Driver CPC syllabus including the following and much more:

  • Analogue & Digital Tachographs.
  • Drivers hours & working time regulations.
  • Safe vehicle loading and operation.
  • Safe and economic driving.
  • Health & safety.
  • Systems and procedures for safe, efficient and secure transport operations.

For each one day module course you complete 7.5 hours will be downloaded direct to the Driving Standards Authority and added to your licence.
